About the Doctor
Op. Dr. Yaşar Başağa is a specialist in urology and andrology. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2014, then completed his specialty training at the Department of Urology, Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine, in 2019, with a particular focus on andrology and functional urology.
He earned his PhD in Regenerative Medicine Sciences from the Genome and Stem Cell Center at Erciyes University, distinguishing himself through the combination of practical surgical expertise with advanced scientific research in stem cells and regenerative therapies.
The surgeon serves as a faculty member at Nişantaşı University Faculty of Medicine with the title of Associate Professor. He holds the Fellow of European Board of Urology (FEBU) certificate awarded by the European Association of Urology, and he continuously follows the latest European-level diagnostic and treatment protocols.
The surgeon performs more than 200 implantation procedures annually, and he is among the first physicians in Turkey to apply cryoablation technology for the treatment of premature ejaculation. He is an internationally certified trainer in this field, as well as a member of the European Society for Sexual Medicine and the European Association of Urology.
