During Ankle Arthroplasty
1 Anesthesia phase and it can be either general or local
2 The surgeon will make an incision in the ankle area

4 Reconstruction and implanting the artificial ankle using screws or medical cement
5 Putting the blood vessels, muscles and all the layers back in place
6 Closing the incision and cover them with sterile bandages
7 Finish the operation and transfer to the recovery room
