What happens during arm lift surgery?
1 To stay comfortable, you receive anesthesia, or local anesthesia after discussing with your surgeon
2 Surgeons make an incision on the inside or back of your arm
3 The surgeon removes excess skin by cutting it away, and if necessary, excessive fat by using liposuction
4 They use stitches to tighten supportive tissue.
5 Surgeons close incision with sutures. They also bandage your arm with sterile gauze to reduce the risk of infection.
